Kalahari Face Brick Tiles

The ideal material for simple remodeling is thin clay bricks. They can be used to renovate or change the appearance of walls more rapidly and with less mess than traditional bricks by applying them to practically any existing exterior or interior surface.

Any space has a classic, timeless vibe when cladding bricks are used. They allow you to revitalize the façade of a commercial or residential building by adding a brick veneer finish without having to entirely rebuild walls.

Thin bricks can be used indoors to decorate fireplaces, backsplashes in kitchens, accent walls, and other interior spaces. Tihn bricks are easy to install and appear exactly like conventional brick afterward, making house renovations quick and appealing.

Regular bricks often take longer to lay than thin bricks. Thin bricks are applied to existing walls with adhesive rather than being used to build a whole wall. They can also be mortared conventionally, which gives their cladding installation method flexibility to meet the demands of your project.

About Brick Tiles

Manufactured in South-Africa, our clay bricks are fired in a clamp kiln, through a process that is unique to Africa.

Extremely durable, clay face bricks are cut into 9mm slices, these we call brick tiles or brick slips, that is then used for cladding.

When the clamp kiln is unpacked, the various colors are classified and sorted into a pre-determined color range, ranging through purple, dark red, and then to yellow, brown and even red borders with black streaks inside.

Face bricks similar in color range are stacked into a tile cutting machine where several diamond blades will cut the bricks into brick tiles. With this process, we exposes the earthy beauty colors hidden inside the face bricks.

No brick tile is identical to the other, however a certain range of bricks tiles will render a arm age of similar colors, rendering a cone of a kind tiled wall with an aesthetic and unique, earthy appearance
